"Of Mice And Men" Part II

Saturday we went to the UGA vs. Alabama game. Given the already known and disappointing outcome of the game, its safe to say the best party of the day was tailgating.

Julie and I in our blackout attire. Even Jason's beer was blacked out!
Cornhole-a new experience for me-pretty fun!

And then we arrive at the stadium with our hopes up-after all Lee Corso picked Alabama ; )The dawgs warming up.
The student section blacked out and so were the letters on the field-that didn't happen last year!

The crowd did its part that's for sure. It truly was a tale of two halves. The team didn't show up for the first half, but gave it all they had during the second. It was 0-31 at halftime, but most fans didn't give up until late in the fourth quarter. It sure was hard to watch. We went home with broken hearts but sooo looking forward to Elena's 40 pound party the next day. Visit the Goodrow Gang for pictures from this event. Unfortunately I didn't get any as we arrived late and had to leave early. Wesley went on another hunger strike during the game and still wasn't eating that great on Sunday. I'll Say it again, "The best laid plans of mice and men often go awry".

Sorry the game didn't have better results, but it looks like you had fun, anyway. That is great news about Elena!!! Avery doesn't even weigh that(she's like 38-39) and she's a year older, so with her illness that is awesome!!!! Sorry about Wesley's troubles with feeding!! Sorry we still haven't gotten to meet him, yet and catch up with the rest of the Denton's, work is wearing me out!!! Hopefully I will post something new soon, too!!!

Great pictures. It was a hard game to watch. The pics from David's train experience look fun too.

I have to echo everyone's compliments - pretty picture! You certainly don't look like you just had a baby. :)

It is a good thing that the tailgate went good because the game certainly didn't. I couldn't stand much past the half after that I quit watching and just checked in occasionally. BRUTAL!! At least you looked great!
