Easter Weekend

Another busy, fun, but tiring weekend! Hope you enjoy the best of the lot of pics I took...
Jason didn't have to work Friday so we took advantage of the great weather and spent most of the day outside.
David thought Charlie needed to borrow his new sunglasses. These were a potty training reward-can't beat the $1 section at Target!
Saturday night we went to Becky's house for Elena's 4th Birthday Party/Welcome Home party for Ethan.Bobby taking a swing at the Pinata.
David enjoying Bobby's sandbox...
...with his friends Elena, Drew, and Lana.
Driving a BMW while wearing shades ; )
A new T-ball set from Grandma er, um, the Easter Bunny.
David's new love.
David has a new found interest in all things construction. I don't think he will ever outgrow his love for trains, but it is becoming less of an obsession for him now. I guess he's growing up more and more every day. Case in point: at the party David climbed up on the couch and asked if he could hold Ethan. He's never asked to hold a baby before! Julie let him (with my help of course). A few minutes later Ethan stared crying and David told him "its okay". I was so proud. He's going to make a great big brother.

It's funny how they have that instinct! Wait and see David will be like Davis "It's ok Sissy!" (as he is shoving her pibby aka paci in her mouth! LOL!

Your pictures were great. I wish I had gotten better pictures from the party. I am glad David had so much fun in the sandbox. I was there when David asked to hold Ethan. It was so adorable. I hope Bobby learns from David how to be a good big brother.

cute pictures, andrea. we have the same t-ball set. two, in fact. sutton is actually getting pretty good at hitting the ball, though she hits left-handed which surprised me. she colors with her right hand though.

Love the sunglasses! And there are few things sweeter in this world than a little boy holding a baby and trying to soothe it. When our nephews hold Jamie, it is just ADORABLE! Get lots of pictures and be sure to do a video interview of David on how he thinks a baby should be held and comforted when it cries... kids have the craziest ideas! :-)

Too cute! I am sure that David is going to be a great BIG bro! My nephew had the same obsession when he was David's age. And he knew the correct name for every single piece of machinery too!

That looks like a great party and that is such a sweet story about David and Ethan. David is going to be a wonderful big brother.

I pulled out Evan's swing the other day because I was desperate for him to take a nap and afterwards, he just pushed the swing. I keep imagining a baby in that swing and how sweet it would be.
