Many of you have been asking how Wesley and I are doing. I guess I haven't had much to report so "no news, is good news", but here are a few highlights...
Wesley is already proving to have gotten my "gymnastics gene" and is constantly doing somersaults in the womb. David used to kick here and there and I would feel him stretching out or kicking on one side, but when Wesley moves, I feel it all over! Also, he apparently doesn't know what the "fetal position" is, because he is constantly stretched out and I can always feel him on my right side at the top of my ribs.
At my last appointment I passed the glucose test, which was truly a relief. I have been eating waaay to many sweets lately, namely chocolate. The Easter candy really didn't help my cause. I craved chocolate with David too and that's definitely something the boys got from their daddy. I was however warned that I gained too much weight between my last two appointments and to cut back on the calories as they don't want Wesley to get too big. I was told the same thing last pregnancy, but this group was so much nicer about it so I was able to take it in stride.
I have already scheduled my c-section which is really weird to be able to pick out your child's birthday! This pregnancy will be roughly three weeks shorter than last time. David was a week overdue and last time we were anxiously waiting for him to come-in fact he came the day before I was to be induced! We don't have a laptop so unfortunately there will be no updates from the hospital, but of course I will post as soon as we come home.
It won't be long now...start praying for a safe delivery!

Easter Weekend
Saturday night we went to Becky's house for Elena's 4th Birthday Party/Welcome Home party for Ethan.Bobby taking a swing at the Pinata.
David enjoying Bobby's sandbox...
...with his friends Elena, Drew, and Lana.
Driving a BMW while wearing shades ; )
A new T-ball set from Grandma er, um, the Easter Bunny.
David's new love.
David has a new found interest in all things construction. I don't think he will ever outgrow his love for trains, but it is becoming less of an obsession for him now. I guess he's growing up more and more every day. Case in point: at the party David climbed up on the couch and asked if he could hold Ethan. He's never asked to hold a baby before! Julie let him (with my help of course). A few minutes later Ethan stared crying and David told him "its okay". I was so proud. He's going to make a great big brother.

That's My Boy!
We opened the Easter candy a little early. I gave David a piece that looked like this...

Another New Blogger!
Whoohoo! I've been working on Rebecca for a while now trying to get her to start blogging. She finally did it! Katie and Becky-y'all know her as a fellow Pius alum, and Tara-you know her from our SJN youth group days. Here's some recent pics of David and her son Bobby playing in our basement on a Saturday morning-still wearing their pj's and sporting some serious bed head ; )
Please go on over and visit the Beckman Bulletin and be sure to leave some comments. She is also pregnant with #2 and they just found out the gender today...

Praise Be To God!
Please go on over to The Goodrow Gang and read their latest post. After only 38 days of waiting, Joel and Julie were selected to adopt a baby boy! That has to be some sort of record as one of the shortest adoption processes ever! The Royal Family is so happy for them that our cup runneth over. I've decided to remove the comment section from this post so y'all can leave any and all comments with them. I've never known two people who are more deserving of this beautiful gift...
