How fast can you type?
Around 50 wpm. Keyboarding was one of the most practical courses I took in high school.
Soup
What is your favorite online game?
Don't play any.
Salad
On a scale of 1 to 10 (with 10 as highest), how intelligent do you think you are?
Okay I really don't like this question. At all. It would just be my opinion and its hard to be objective about oneself. If I give a high number I look cocky, but if I give a low number it appears I'm stupid. I've never had my IQ tested, so I plea the fifth on this one.
Main Course
Name three of your best teachers from your school years.
I can only name two: Ms. Clecker (high school math) Dr. Armstrong (college political science). I think one of the reasons I never wanted to be a teacher is that I never really had that many "good" teachers. Either that or I set the bar too high.
Dessert
What are your plans for this upcoming weekend?
Neighborhood social on Saturday, church on Sunday.

Oh Snap!
I left my camera at my friend Lauren's house on Friday. Seeing how her daughter Avery just caught a stomach bug I will be staying away for now. I may not have much to post for awhile...its like the blog police always says...a post without pictures is like a book without words, er, something like that...

I got 3 of the same outfit in the same size when David was born. I kept one, and then I gave the second one to my sister to give as a gift for her friend's baby shower, and I gave the third one to one of my friend's at her baby shower.

Animal Confusion
...and I think to myself-huh, well that does kinda look like what you might get if you crossed a bunny and a zebra (note the inexplicably large ears). Jason tries to point out the stripes, and I'm thinkin' yeah, but tigers have stripes too, and you can't use the black and white angle because there are white tigers. I guess trying to teach a 1 1/2 year old that this animal is not a bunny is kinda like trying to teach a 2 almost 3 year old that Peppermint Patty is not a dude.

Happy Easter!
The family
Ladies in Lavender (this was not planned)
I'd like to tell you we gave David his Easter bag this morning, but really this was just before he went to bed.
A new outfit and a Thomas The Train book and DVD (To quote Ben who gave the understatement of the day "David really loves choo-choo's")
*David finally said "mama" a handful of times last Saturday-I was hesitant to post about it and rightfully so because the next day he acted like he never heard the word. Over this week he went from calling me what sounding something like "nana" to calling me a very clear "mama" again. What can I say? I'm elated!
I set my alarm this morning but somehow I woke up an hour late. I'm not sure if I turned it off half-asleep or if I just didn't set it correctly. There was still plenty of time to get to church, I just had to cut out the morning's Easter festivities. After mass we grabbed some coffee and headed to Granny's house and visited with her and Godmother Carol. It was short but sweet. Next we headed to Oma and Pop's house and had a delicious feast. Honey Baked Ham, yeast rolls, deviled eggs, potato salad, strawberry shortcake...need I say more? We visited for awhile but soon it was time to go back home where David finally opened up his presents. Happy Easter Everyone!

Why yes I have! Even though I hadn't met her until I started blogging, I knew of Becky because her mother and my mother-in-law are friends.
Salad
When was the last time you were really, really tired?
Once or twice a week when my allergies get the best of me and I am forced to take a benadryl or two.
Main Course
If you could have dinner with any one fictional character from a book or movie, who would it be? This is bending the rules a bit because he's from a television show, but I'd have to say Dr. Gregory House.
Dessert
Fill in the blank: One day, I hope to see _______.
Heaven.

Happy Birthday Lara!
My sister Lara's 31st birthday is Tomorrow. Try as I might, this post will not do her justice. Those of you who know her, or have met her know what I mean. She is a rare beautiful soul. I am inspired by her in so many ways. As a Christian she is a humble servant. As a wife she is loving and devoted. As a mother she is selfless and fun. As a daughter she is respectful and obedient. As a sister she is a teacher and confidant. As a friend she puts thought and care into each word she speaks so as to be both honest and caring at the same time. If I could just be half the woman she is, my aspirations would be fulfilled. Life would be so different without her, and I thank God everyday for our relationship. Happy Birthday "wa-wa", I love you!
