Friday David and I went to visit Lara and Ben. I wanted to see my sister one last time before baby Will makes his appearance. She is scheduled to start the induction process this Wednesday. Lara had Happy Habaneros deliver some quesadillas, and it was so nice to just eat at home with the kids. Shortly after lunch, we put the boys down for their naps. As her house was also a diversion from playing choo-choo's, I gladly took on some of her ironing so she could rest. I didn't get much done before David woke up, but hey at least I put my money where my mouth is!

i hope all goes well with your sister! why is she being induced?
The baby is measuring big and Lara has asthma.
That's exciting to know the new baby is arriving on Wed, not having to wait around for major pain to kick in.
I want a sister!
you can have one of mine, amanda. hehe! we love each other but we still fight it out, man!!
Good luck to your sis!
Good luck to Lara. Glad you got some time away from the trains.
I'm an "only child". All the kids were envious when I was little. Now that I'm older, I wish my parents would have had more kids.
I always wanted more siblings. I had a few friends who had large families. There was never a dull moment at their houses!
I guess I wouldn't be as close to my one sister though...we are best friends. I love her dearly.
I'm looking forward to details on Wednesday!!! :)
I LOVE being an only child! That's what friends are for!!! Good luck to Lara - Andrea - please keep me updated!!!
Sorry girls but the baby won't be born until Thursday (she goes to the hospital Wednesday evening).
Haha! Babies have a knack for arriving just BEFORE they're scheduled to be induced...just ask my Ben!
Becky-that happened to me too! I was supposed to go in on Sunday and David was born Saturday night. (I was a week overdue) I think this might be a little different though since it is before her due date...we shall see-all bets are off when its the 2nd+ child!
Yep, happened with both my kids! Went in labor 7 wks early w/ Logan (had him @ 33 1/2 wks) and then Gage arrived two nights before I was to be induced.
wow, amanda, logan came pretty early. do they know why? how much did he weigh?
No, they had no idea why my labor started. I was scared to death, praying that he would weigh at least 5 lbs.....and came out at 6 lbs, 3 oz!!!! My OB said I'd better be glad he decided to come on outta there.
My delivery with Gage was the opposite. Instead of lying in the hospital for 4 days getting pumped full of antibiotics and steroids before delivery, he decided he wanted out that minute. Had to go via ambulance...and thought I was going to DIE. He arrived 9 min after we got to the hospital - WITH NO DRUGS (he weighed 7 lb, 15 oz).
wow! amanda! 9 minutes after you got to the hospital! what a nice short labor!
