Easter Azaleas

If there is one picture that would sum up the difference between my sister and I during our childhood years, this would be it. Lara and I are picking the flowers off the azaleas and throwing them on the ground. Then my Dad yells "stop that girls!" and we turn around just in time to have our picture taken. Lara's face says, "I did it, it was wrong, and I'm sorry, but please don't spank me". My face says, "just who do you think you are, yelling at me, huh"?

We are 3 1/2 years apart. I actually ended up an inch taller than her!

Wow, she looks much older than you in that photo! I agree with Katie that she looks much taller...it must be the angle of the camera.

Such cute little girls! :)

Actually, Andrea was always kind of "small for her age" when she was a young girl. It wasn't until she was in middle school, I think, that she "caught up" in height. The expressions do reflect some of the differences in personaly between you and Lara, but I also remember you, Andrea, as being very shy. I love you both a lot in your similarities and differences!!!

That gives me hope for Logan then because he's little. :)

Must have been all that gymnastics that stunted my growth, right mom?

Andrea - that so reminds me of and my younger sister and me. My sister, like you, was the sassy-pants. We are 2 years apart. Aren't sisters fun? Great picture! :)

Thanks for the comment Whitney! Yes, my life would be so different without my older sis. I have learned so much from her over the years.

Ahh, that pic looks like it was taken at the side of my Mema & Papa's house. Good memories. Me & my sister are 12 years apart. And if there was a sassy one, then I was definitely it!
